Portrait of Pierre-Antoine, Project Manager at Exonia
Could you explain to us what your job involves?
My role is to support clients in meeting their needs.
From the preliminary study to commissioning, I am involved in all stages of the project.
- Needs analysis: based on the problems posed, I study possible solutions, design the PID, proceed with the 3D design and carry out the functional analysis.
- Preparing for implementation: sourcing, drawing up plans, scheduling and monitoring production in our workshops.
- Site: on-site work planning and coordination of personnel, commissioning (testing and customer training)
- After-sales service: technical monitoring, maintenance and supply of spare parts.After-sales service: technical monitoring, maintenance and supply of spare parts.
What do you particularly like about your job?
The versatility of my position means that every day is different. Depending on my assignments, I’m either in the office, the workshop or in the field, so there’s never a dull moment!
I also enjoy seeing the projects we have imagined come to fruition. It’s a constant personal challenge.
I am constantly learning about everything, it’s exciting!
Can you tell us about your latest project?
I have just completed a large-scale energy recovery project at a production site in eastern France.
We have built a steam condenser to recover the previously unused steam generated and recycle it. This system allows our client to produce 1500 MW more per year and save nearly 8000 tonnes of water on its annual consumption.
What would be your dream project?
Apart from taking over the management of EXONIA, I dream of designing modular industrial evaporators controlled using predictive automation on a very large installation.
